Ever since you've been posted closer home, i've been hoping to catch a glimpse of you. I didn't give any thought to what it would be like to see you again.
Which is why, when i finally caught you saluting somebody and my hand flew to my mouth to stifle the impending gasp that was my reaction, i was surprised. If nothing, this was definitely not i was expecting out of myself when i saw you standing there.
How the last six years have changed you. The last time i saw you, you were up on stage with your new bride, smiling at the cameras, looking at everyone. Everyone except me, that is. Marriage suits you - except for that hint of a paunch, the weight shows that you seem to be experiencing wedded bliss. You're still wearing your glasses. You skin seems to have turned a few shades lighter and rosier. You look happy. And...not spineless. You look like you don't need others to take decisions for you, that you can make decisions on your own and stick by them.
I'm tempted to call you. But maybe that isn't such a great idea. If the changes wrought are so visible physically, i wonder what it could have done to you as a person. And i don't think i'm ready for that, even after all these years. I'm satisfied with the memories i have.

call a radio station, call the twitchy fingers helpline, call the BSNL complaint number with a martian recorded voice, call a random number from the directory, call anyone but him. if you do, you will stop being a bitch, a bully or a basboobah...
should call radio one and check on my voucher, methinks. it will put him out of my head for eternity, and happily so!
And pray i don't get sozzled and do it. :D
i dont know your story.
but it was a beautiful one.
it is such a familiar story.
Hey roaring sheep (not sure if that's the appropriate way to address you, somehow sounds un-glamorously Bo Peep-y. :D),
